The LOHRMANN Group of companies is a German based organization, specialized in the sale of good used power plants and processing equipment, such as oil refineries or other petrochemical units.

 

The company was established in 1953 in Siegen by Mr. Günther Lohrmann as a trading company for tool machinery and wood working plants with activities across the entire Western Europe.

In 1983, the executive management was turned over to the next family generation, Eng. Michael Lohrmann, who began specializing into the sale and relocation of pre-owned power plants and new gas turbine spare parts.

 

Twenty years later, LOHRMANN decided to move its headquarter strategically closer to the Frankfurt International Airport, due to the fact that company's activities took place mainly in India and Middle East.
Since then, LOHRMANN is located in the beautyful city Wiesbaden.

 

Today, the LOHRMANN Group is one of the world's market leaders in the sale and relocation of pre-owned power plants and oil refineries, having its activities in almost all countries worldwide.

Further to its main business activities, Renewable Energy and Bio Fuel Production also became an important issue and so, the Renewable Energy Division was established in 2005, enabling the LOHRMANN Group to cover the entire field of energy and fuel production with technical equipment supply and engineering services.
